CRAFT Workshops “El Arte del Bien Sentir”: Well-Being, Music Appreciation, and Mindful Listening in Granada
17 september 2026
Two training days led by Dr. Pilar Posadas and Pedro Fajardo that integrate mindfulness, yoga, and emotional intelligence to experience music through the body and emotions, certified by Camilo José Cela University.
As part of the “El Arte del Bien Sentir” project, developed in collaboration with Camerata Garnati and the Banco Sabadell Foundation, Granada hosts the CRAFT Workshops on well-being and music appreciation: two immersive training days designed to discover a new way of listening to, feeling, and understanding classical music through self-awareness and mindfulness.
Listening, Body, and Emotion
Led by Dr. Pilar Posadas de Julián—creator of the CRAFT methodology and Chair of Pedagogy at the Victoria Eugenia Royal Higher Conservatory of Music in Granada—alongside educator and visual artist Pedro Fajardo, this program directly works with the musical repertoire performed by Camerata Garnati.
Through music appreciation, mindfulness, yoga, and emotional intelligence, the sessions establish an active connection between body, breath, attention, and emotion. The goal is to provide accessible tools to experience the music from within, fostering deeper, more conscious, and transformative listening.
Scientifically Validated Methodology Open to Everyone
The program is designed for anyone wishing to enhance their well-being or engage deeply with the arts, requiring no prior musical background or technical experience.
The CRAFT methodology is built around five core elements—Consciousness (Consciencia), Relaxation (Relajación), Mindfulness (Atención plena), Happiness (Felicidad), and Transcendence (Trascendencia)—and is backed by international scientific research conducted in collaboration with the University of Granada and Auckland University of Technology.
Additionally, this course is officially certified by Camilo José Cela University in Madrid with 1.7 ECTS credits, corresponding to Module 1, Level I of the CRAFT Program (17 in-person training hours).
